Dems Doing Liberalism Badly
Published (2009-12-05 05:52:03)
Democrats lived down the Great Society 's excesses for decades. Yet today's Democrats appear unable to even get basic liberalism right. A historic progressive moment has passed. The cost is millions of jobs and over the long term, the perception of liberalism's efficacy. Barack Obama inherited a progressive moment unseen since Lyndon Johnson and Franklin Roosevelt before him. In this crisis, liberals had a chance to prove...

Yes, he is. And he is fully typical of the economics team around Obama. There ARE no Paul Krugmans or Robert Reiches around him. Just the same kinds of men - often the same MEN - from the Bush era. Stunningly, they are not changing their policies, either. Odd.

We have already mined and enriched literally tons of nuclear materials.
They exist, whether used in warheads or in carbon-free power plants. I
would rather use them up making power without CO2 than as warheads. Either
way, future generations will have to find a way to live with or neutralize
the radioactive product.

I wouldn't expect to hear a whole lot about this; since it's good news and doesn't fit the narrative.
"Critics say?"
Those same critics said this was all money down a black hole\ and that most of it wouldn't be paid back
