I have a HUGE soft spot for animals. I heard there is a judge down in FL. who gives LOOOOOOONG sentences for people who abuse animals. In our small town, (1.3 miles) ,the monthly newsletter reported that the kitten survived being doused in lighter fluid and set afire. This is okay, due to the fact there are so many counterfeit documents and a person can misrepresent themselves to you. Its a great idea that passports have to be presented to entering the US. This way it gives the officer some additional time to speak to the person in front of them and determine if they might be hiding something.
