I still think the KEY word on his shirt was "authority," not the f-word. Some people (not I, but some) would say this phrase would be akin to inciting to riot, disobey police, whatever. Obviously security was offended by it and asked him to remove the shirt. I don't believe the guy was trespassed, because he was not loud, antagonistic, or uncooperative (he did remove the shirt, after all).

W2G FORMS and your tax return

Quote Originally posted by: arcimedes In addition, amazingly, if those who get W2Gs follow the memo's advice and put the exact dollar amount of all winning sessions and that number is less than the total of your W2Gs, then you end up getting audited (where you'd better have very good records). Don't you just love bureaucracies. I think you're mixing apples and oranges. I think you pull out the W2Gs first, and then use the...

W2G FORMS and your tax return
Published (2009-11-05 18:50:00)
Hi. My question is NOT about reporting gambling winnings and losses. I report all my wins, and frankly I've NEVER had a profitable year gambling. MY QUESTION is about the NEED or REQUIREMENT to enter each INDIVIDUAL W2G when I prepare my tax return on my computer? The bottom line is still the same... I report several hundred thousand dollars of WINS, and I offset that amount with all of the losses. Again, my question is DO I HAVE TO GO...

This is private property, and the owner has the right to set the rules. That includes dress attire and rules regarding profanity. Many liberals don't recognize the rights of private property owners...........unless they own the property, of course. Private property, so management/security gets to decide what's allowed. Let the moron fill out the complaint card, and get a good laugh out of it at the next staff meeting. I remember when we first moved here in the late 90s and went to Disneyland for the first time. It was hotter than hell that day, and my wife was wearing a bikini top and shorts in line for Splash ...

Hey Bags, how's your new toilet seat? Posted by BAGIANT: Best Toilet Seat I Ever Bought! If you're like most of the men in this world, you have a significant other or wife who DEMANDS that you put down the seat down once you're done peeing! That always makes me wonder WHY we have to lift it up and then put it down, when the fair way would be for us to lift it up, and ...

I've had a few good runs lately...too many small ones, but they are quickly adding up. The Rizzo fund has grown to 900 bucks from 100 bucks last week. Lots of small hits here and there, but nothing to interesting to report. If I can find some time later on today, I will see about writing something up. Thanks for asking though. --Rizzo

Car rental companies buy cars at a deep discount and make a profit when selling them after a couple of months in order to "renew the fleet". In some cases the rental rates just cover the operating costs and the real profit is made in reselling the cars. With the recession this source of profits dried out and they need to make money on their core business... Fox is not at ...

Having met with Pete Carroll several times and having listened to him speak, he hasn't driven any coach out. If a coach receives a better offer, he doesn't hold them back and encourages to go ahead and take the job. He has done for assistant coaches what he has done for many of his players, and that would be taking them to the next level. I want to congratulate you on ...

I would like to know just how much of the United States taxpayers money is being sent out of the U.S. to other countries as foreign aid. I think that taxpayers money should be used by the taxpayers for the citizens of the United States. That amount, plus the monies spent on foreign wars could and would straighten out the American economy very quickly. Why are we, the ...

My accountant e-files my return and simply puts the total amount of the W2G's in the "additional income" line on the 1040 form. The IRS has never asked to see the details of the individual W2G's. They get copies from the casinos. When you e-file, you don't send in your W2's from work, either. You simply enter the totals on the e-form.
