you dont have to open bottom!!! just press the button when its at the bottom and open boot lid! i usually chuck an old boot between top and bottom just to make sure it dunt close and start off again!

sounds like a faulty injector leaking back. Pressure has to be equal across all 4 injectors before it fires, so if one is leaking back it won't start. check by carrying out a leak off test. could also be the cam position sensor on top of the engine, but this usually causes hot starting issues. good luck

i've read a couple of things.. needs a good battery to fire it up, mines poo as have to jump start every few days using a small vw golf.. so hopefully thats to blame.. the other thing i read was the FIP is shot.. not good.. I can tell its been taken off before as the security nut has a groove cut in it already... but any other advise would be good.. how can i test the injectors ...

I've just had a text message from D71 and he may be in need of the Landyzone recovery service. He's currently at Fleet services on the M3 and his oil light keeps coming on, battery was steaming (????) and the motor was getting pretty warm as well. Is there anyone local who may be able to assist if he needs it please? ...
