as long as you change over all the front of the engine stuff (alt, front cover, water pump,....) and the brackets to hold it all on (assumung it the older style engine). Other than that it's pretty straight forward. You may run into some electrical plug ends that are different so you may have to swap some of that stuff over too. The blocks are the same so fit wise,... its so easy a caveman could ...

if it hasnt been refitted for the new refrigerant R134a, it would have left the factory with R12 Freon. the valves on the compressor will tell you. also if it got converted by a previous owner its supposed to have a sticker under the hood saying so. vigorous arguments erupt on this board about things like fuels, oil grades, coolants and refrigerants. i will simply say that when my AC was still ...

An 0301 code is a Cylinder 1 misfire code. What kind of wires did you switch them with? The factory LR wires don't seem to hold up well in my opinion - I switched mine with some better quality, bigger aftermarket ones. I wouldn't worry about driving it until you have it looked at. Good luck.

Check your alternator and idler pulley for bad bearings. Facing the truck the idler is directly below the A/C compressor and to the left of the water pump. You may want to just take the belt off and check everything the belt runs. The idler is known to develop flat spots on the plastic wheel, the bearing is a common part and can be replaced instead of spending big bucks for the assembly if the ...

I recently ordered two sets of Nate Bottorf's rock sliders. One with square, the other with round nerfs. Attached are some pictures of Nate's rock sliders. Note, the round nerfs have 2 horizontal support bars, the square nerfs will have two support bars too even...

no, the shocks arn't that crappy, lol. all a shock does is keep you from bouncing along like a 1952 caddy. mine rides better with a lift i've got 761's and an isolater up front. but i do have air in the rear. what do you have 777's? you have spring isolaters in back...should. and sort of upfront (rubberized upper spring perch) you could try adding the individual isolater to the bottom perch. ...

Jeep = Nemissis I prefer the luxury amenities the LR offers while it can go any place a jeep can go. If all other things are considered equal tires, lift, gears, 4.o. I feel like I'm in a tin box in a jeep. While I'm perfectly comfortable rolling up to the valet at the lodge in my DII. Their eye's light up every time I pull up. . Maybe it's the mini skirt ? ...

Almost exact same scenario that my LR is exhibiting. Will stay up for days on end then both kids get in the back and blamo! I am dragging the rear like a SoCal Impala. Usually it will pump up, but at times it will not. Only after sitting for a while will the pump come on and make the vehicle driveable. This past Sat I went to take the kids to the beach and had to turn around and drive home...

That is a far better oil filter then the factory one with lot more capacity, why change back because of a leak? When you remove the filter make sure the 2 bolts inside the filter mount are tight and make sure you don't have a second older oil ring stuck up inside the mount.
