I just know that Cadbury World could easily be done on a day trip from Leicester, so you'll have to put it on your 'to do' list next time you're over Damain.

I just had so much fun out there! The weather was great - mid 70s and sunny - and the girls had a blast. One of the best things about living in the South - temps like this until December-ish I just wonder why TV series on DVD are sooo addicting?

The ingredients don't look to bad for a Purina product. At least their is no CORN in the food which is a good thing.
The only concern most people have about feeding fish based food is if the preservative Ethoxyquin is used. The manufacturer sometimes does NOT add this to the food, but the supplier of the fish may add it. So you have to find out from Purina if this preservative is used....

I found coconut oil at a local world/farmer's market for a price of 3.49 for about a pint(?) of it. It's the best price I've found ANYWHERE..

I wonder this too. Why would I feed Science Diet for kidney issues when it has ethoxyquin in it to a dog with already compromised kidney function?
I refused to use it and found a much better food with the needed low phosphorous and added supplements and my KF girl did great for 1 1/2 years.

It looks like the ingredients are identical to each other, but likely in different proportions.
IMHO, I can see no reason why you can't.

Thank god its just Pano. He will outgrow it. I had a pup in a litter in 2006 and the owner did not change food (26% protein). Pup did fine and outgrew it.
I would not want a growing Lab pup on too low a protein. I can understand possibly taking pup off puppy food but don't go to CN adult - its only 21 protein.
If this were my pup I would stay on the CN puppy food ALS and ...

I think Natura is a very well-respected company and I have used the regular chicken and turkey EVO in my dogs' kibble rotation. I liked the results best with my 2 yr. old Luna and less well with my senior golden. I think the 22% fat was a bit much for him.
I've never supplemented with glucosamine or chondroitin with my younger dogs. I've been giving glucosamine to my golden since he was 5 yrs...

Some breeds just shed more than others.
I know Labs shed...it is just part of who they are.
It doesn't sound like it has anything to do with diet. Remember, that during certain times of the year, dogs will shed even more.
Giving your dog a good brushing at least once a week will help.
I have learned to accept the shedding and just love my dog!

Which food to start pup on
New here, first real question. I'll have a very high octane lab joining the fam around the end of the year. I want to feed him quality stuff, I read somewhere online that the meat based foods are best and that dogs need less grains than most foods offer. What are some brands and blends to consider? I ...

I'm so terribly sorry. This is such a tragedy. These men and ladies give their lives for us and when they need help, sadly, there is little there for them. My deepest sympathy and prayers for your family at this time.
