Holy shit. What is this I see before my eyes? FAIR difficulty in a Call of Duty game?/slackjawed I'm playing through on Veteran and it's not the ball busting, kick you in the teeth experience that IW's other games were. It's hard, don't get me wrong and I've died a ton of times but the respawning crap I mentioned earlier is, in fact GONE. The difficulty feels good and not completely unfair. You're pushed...

Playing Hardened, I would say no. Once you clear an area, you're done. You move on to the next area. However, I can't say the same for Veteran.

Hope it worked out for you, Derrik . I finished off the large forest area today; very good quest line through that section and the payoff at the end was very nice. I did the goody-goody path and I liked the resolution - Bioware does this kind of storytelling like nobody else.

Finally got my copy (PC) so started playing it last night. Started an Elf Mage and was surprised when I looked up and 3 hours had gone by heheh Game really does grab you. It looks great IMO on PC and I find that (like Romier) I am using the isometric view in every battle but, I flip back to a close 3rd person view while exploring as it just looks so great Taking my time and going through every side mission I can at the moment...

Not even sure if I will have my copy for the weekend. Used Amazon's free shipping obviously and the estimate to ship it out is the 12th so we'll have to wait and see. I called up another supermarket chain that is making less of a fuss about selling the game for £25.99 but they'd still managed to sell out their stock within an hour of opening this morning. Takes money to make money and it's still necessary to try some riskier ventures now and then, still the losses shouldn't be a suprise, we're in a recession money is tighter and sales at all should be counted as a blessing really

I just got an invite too, but I have a wave in my inbox that says "invite others to Google wave". It's got a limited number of invites though, and I have no idea whether they're immediate invites or if it's just to nominate people for whenever the next batch of regular invites goes out.

Really flipping hard to quantify as it totally depends what games I'm currently playing. For example, right now it's 90% PS3 + 10% Wii, but in a week, that will change dramatically as BoomBlox goes back to work, Lego Indy comes in on the 360 and I'm done with GTA4 on the PS3. So I'm not going to vote.

The only people that said anything negative about it were Mark McDonald and Garnett lee on the 1up yours podcast. At the time I don't even think either actually played it. Just saw it in passing, and made a snide comment. The game did get nominations for best RPG and PC game. It can't be that negative

Has anyone bought the Roku? I'm thinking about getting one for the bedroom... and now the new one has a USB port on the back, so I would bet they add codecs to read your own video stuff soon, that will do it for me if it happens.
