Currently, I think we have scope to accomodate 18 people there, 20 if I moved one of the tables up from the shop front. 16 is a nice easy number to work though, from the network point of view and that really is number of spaces already set out. Busy time of year for me so I don't want to be spending too much extra time setting things up if I can avoid it.

I really love the idea of playing a space MMORPG, everyone I mention this to always says 'Try EVE' but I dunno about you lot, I found it overwhelming with the interface and stuff. I played it for a few hours and I still had no idea what I was meant to be doing or what my goals were. I certainly had no idea about how to see other players in the game. Does anyone have any tips? I've played World of Warcraft for the past 2 years or...

What latency said. I doubt software for another mobo will work, and even if you did manage to overclock an Eee by any significant amount, it would just overheat.

Thanks for the link- actually found that the other day myself! Still trying to apply the code to visual layout of my website, which is three column. Got the left column working with the code concept of that page, but not the right. Will get it eventually!

Also reduced battery life which is one reason why people buy netbooks.

If we're using upstairs then whats the actual limits since it's only the kustom rigs and netbooks.

I only ever use to play the trial but kept on using random emails and challenging myself to get further in the game in the 10 days they give you. I think I got upto battlecruiser level a few times. What style of gamer are you? Trader, Miner, Militaristic or scavenger?

If you feel like you need to over clock a netbook, you've bought it for the wrong purpose...
Internet and Email. That's it. That's all they're for, and you can do that with the single-core atom 1.6 quite easily

The problem we have here is a question of equality.
The scum of the country carry any kind of knife, weather it's supposed to be a utility knife like these locking stanley knives, a victorianox, or just simply a hunting knife of some description- and they carry it as a weapon.
Sensible people like you or I carry a knife so we can open boxes and cut string.
We have a right to carry these ...

The old equal height columns chestnut.
This example has 3 divs of equal height so should be a good starting point for you:

1440x900 is 16:10, so your TV won't do it. You need to use 16:9 resolutions.
I assume the laptop doesn't have HDMI or DVI, both of which will connect directly to the TV's HDMI inputs?
VGA will only get you up to 1366 x 768 on most TVs, which is the nearest 16:9 equivalent of 1440 x 900.
1366 x 768 is a funny res though, so it might not show up on your laptop if you graphics drivers are ...

IIRC I've not seen you around here much recently so to me this thread seems a little ironic. I know some members have gone and either or not they will return we don't know. The active members don't seem to post as much and that's probably cos there is little to post about since we're all go great we don't neeed to ask each other for help

I get pretty good results with a Pentium D E2180 - decodes 1080p no problems (rendered to a 720p screen).
I prefer nVidia over ATi for graphics, but only have an 8400GS which is about £30 - the newer HD codecs will offload onto this so CPU usage is at a minimum.
If looks arn't important, get a really cheap full ATX case, don't waste your money on the nice ones - especially if they're small...
