Hi Becky, I am a old pro at quitting smoking lol. I have done it sooooo many times but started so many times. I used to think of quitting as basically cutting back and I rewarded myself with cigarettes and alcohol. I really had to change my way of thinking. I have been on the Wellbutrins for longer then the recommended time but my doctor thought it was best to get through the Holidays then we will ween me off them. I cant tell you how many...

hmmm...my plan... well my plan is to go cold turkey - hoping that the wellbutrin I already take will help stabilize my mood. I have quit before and I am dreading those first two weeks. I am not good at one day at a time either. My faith is a lot stronger now than it was the first time that I quit so I am hoping that I can get through some of the rough times with prayer. My husband is quitting too and we hope we can do it without killing each...

I stayed home and watched several episodes from Bones, season 1 (I got it as a Christmas gift from hubby). We watched the ball drop on the tube, then watched one more episode of Bones before calling it a night. I know, boring, huh? :P Powered by CGISpy.com

What I did was nothing really, I watched tv, and then went to sleep. I say New Years Eve is overated??? I was certainly thinking about quitting smoking? That's my last vice, that I been having trouble with. If I quit, then I will be completely clean and sober, and cigarette free! Wouldn't that be a dream.... Wishful thinking....Later, I let you know how it goes, thanks from Debrinconcita in Portland, Oregon. Deb Rincon

I have been SO busy lately!!!!! Between Keelin's IEP and med changes, Joshua's IFSP, feeding issues, and speech therapy, and just the holiday season, I don't know whether I'm coming or going most of the time! LOL I do have a few positive updates, though, if you want them. What, you do? Well then..... Keelin: We finally got him on a medication that is working for him. We're still in the ...

I did quit, I made an official proclamation, threw out my smokes, and stood resolved....for 14 hours. Then I am not sure if it was that I stayed up too late on New Years Eve, PMS, the fact that my husband snuck outside and had one and came in with smoke breath, or the fact that I am going on over 2 weeks of being cooped up in a small house with four kids over Christmas Break. I caved in. I ...

Hi! I'm Cindy. I'm 24 and have been smoking since my senior year ( 17y/o). I've been married for 3 1/2 years and have 2 kiddos now. I've been under extreme pressure from my DH to quit smoking since we met. He is a social smoker and smokes at work even if they get bored or out doing something. It's kinda hard to take him seriously when I know that he can light up whenever he wants one and ...

Hey, I just want to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas. The temptations will be everywhere to light up but remember how far you've come. Ask those friends of yours to give you a special gift of not smoking around you. If the urge is really strong think, bricks on legs, hose up nose, sick, sicker dead. That's my sickorette song lol. Merry Christmas and God bless us everyone. Hugs Cindy ...
