i had
2 x 1 GIG sticks of ram in my machine when i built it (2 gigs of ram). today i bought another 2 sticks of 1 gig ram to make it 4. i was warned before purchasing that windows might not read the fourth stick, but sometimes it reads half it making 3.5 gigs. but when i put it in, it only says 3 gigs on my OS (2.93). so first off, how retarded is windows xp to limit itself like this? and ...

Hi folks! I just bought Massive because it's
pad sounds and FX. However, I found I can't generate sound as fat as Surge which use only one oscillator plus Uni Count and Uni Spread. How should I do? Is this unmodifiable? Thanks for any insight.

anyone else see a streak of green light appear in the sky "
from nowhere" at about 11:35pm? not a firework, wrong angle, wrong speed, no sound, and it disintegrated into short-lived fire-balls, rather than showers of sparks. very pretty, whatever it was. ----

Two very powerful features that set Cubase apart from most other hosts are: --- Macros (assign a keycommand to a macro to automate certain common
sequences of clicks), to reconsider onw of Mr. Tunes' suggestions: a macro along the lines of "set locators to selection - jump to left locator - start playback" assigned to "p" is even more useful --- Logical Editor - what a mighty tool, ...

After hearing "I wish I could afford those plug-ins" I was inspired to make VST versions of my modular created compressors. These cover just about all compression needs for musical applications. I have included a
Feed-Forward, Feed-Back, & Side-chain compressor to use as you feel necessary. I have also added optional detection circuit Filters, & Drive stage for all the vintage sounding or ...

Hi, i have a project in 88.2 / 24bit, and when i convert it to 44.1/16, it sounds flat and without low frequencies. Is there any simple and costless solution to proper conversion? I'm working in
Wavelab. Thanx.

I'm thinking of reorganizing my audio and
VST folders a bit (or rather, organizing them). How much is this liable to confuse XT? Will I just have to tell it where things are when I open tunes, will it even seek things out automatically, or will it cause something to go horribly Pete Tong? I seem to remember some nasty bug happening to people who'd moved or deleted VSTs, and would like to ...

I've used Liveslice for vocals in a couple of tracks and for some reason when i've reloaded them they are now not playing the original vocal that is loaded into the arrangement on C1 etc.In settings C1 is assigned to trigger arrangement but for some reason it's
triggering the first loop that's loaded in the loop panel on the left and that's not even loaded in the arrangement I quickly ...

Portishead's new album. This thread is only for people who want to talk about how bad it sucks and how old Portishead is now
unlistenable because now you realize that they sucked all along.
