You know, my view on this is going to be strange, considering I'm the resident animal lover around here.. (no pun intended, lol) But I think five, or even three years is a little harsh. I would think this man is more in need of psychiatric treatment, more than massive jail time.. Just my opinion, but I think this man has to be suffering pretty badly, mentally, to do what he's doing..

I know I'm probably in the minority here but, I CAN'T STAND THIS SHOW! I can't stand the hype, can't stand the judges, and can't stand the douchenozzle contestants that populate the show. To me having a good voice is not a talent. Having the ability to write your own songs and play an instrument is. I wish this reality TV crap would just go away. Bring back shows like Beverly Hillbillies, Mork ...

from a long standing history of cruelty .
many south asian cultures have as a 'spiritual reference' this -

What a wonderful young lady.
I hope she is banned for life. If she had injured the other players spinal chord that could have been for life. There is a lot to be said for being intense in competition but this was way beyond that IMO.
