Monkey's in Troy supposedly is awesome for shooting pool...but supposedly they remodeled some and I've heard their pool table numbers dropped. I've never been in there so I can't confirm...but my ex and her friends used to go in there to have a few drinks and shoot some pool a few times a week.

Just to add...I've looked this up on Snopes.com . It is currently listed as undetermined, because they're still trying to reach Harold Estes to confirm/deny it. http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/haroldestes .asp - Keep checking on it for confirmation...but either way, the author still speaks the truth!
