Taking JB to the movies?
Published (2009-12-04 13:57:00)
I thought about it recently w/ Ponyo but decided not to.? I think Ava would have wanted to run down the aisle screaming to tell you the truth, but if Libby is asking to see it?then why not?? If she will sit still with a little kiddie popcorn and enjoy being a big girl, then I say go for it.? Maybe if you let her wear a tiara and princess dress she will be extra good!? :)? GL!!

Shoot I posted yesterday but obviously didnt upload it cos its MIA! Oh well. Works dinner was OK - OH behaved, Aston behaved. Everyone persuaded us to go bowling after dinner but that was not so great......cost WAY more than we'd anticipated and meant we were all super late to bed again. SIGH Im getting tired of late nights. We're supposed to be going for our small group social tonight starting at 6pm so that means we'll be...

Do you like to have plans on the weekend or would you rather stay at home? It depends. I sometimes go a little stir crazy if we have nothing to do, but that is quite rare. I love our Sundays with church and my parents. What is your favorite Christmas Movie? It's A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street are two of my favorite classics. I really like the Patrick Stewart version of A Christmas Carol. We watch that one every year. I do...

They are so much fun at this age!! Luke calls spongebob, "bob-bob" He also likes saying "Oh my goodness" when he sees something that really facinates him, like christmas lights or toys At the dinner table, if I don't eat all my food on my plate, he says "mama eat food, eat it all, mama" There's plenty more, but I just can't think of them at the moment.

dropping naps?

Meghan I'm in the exact same position as you but I have a 2 week old. Aydan is refusing to nap for me and the only way he did the other day is in my bed with me next to him.? I know exactly how you feel about needing the break -and that is why I am forcing him to nap. I think I'm going to make him have 'quiet time' in his room with the door closed so I get an hour to myself during the afternoons.? And then just put him to...

Taking JB to the movies?
Published (2009-12-04 16:25:00)
We've taken Beau to the movies 3 times. He does GREAT! He loves going to the movies. We get him some popcorn, a Sprite and he's good as gold! He is normally a very WILD child but does great in the movies. We tell him before hand that if he misbehaves then we're going to leave but we haven't had any trouble at all! Its actually pretty fun!

Well, I poas on Saturday--and it was positive! I'm a little bit in shock--it was only the second month of trying! Now, of course--I'm really, really hoping the little bean will stick. I'm trying not to worry about it, but I just want this first two months to fly by so I'll feel more confident about it! I didn't deal well with my morning sickness with jb and that's when I could sleep and lay...

Do you workout? Yes. Well, I run 2 miles a day three days a week or at least try to. I have to use my lunch break to do it so if I have errands to run (like Christmas shopping) then I can't go.
What's one thing you know JB's getting for Christmas, from you or someone else? I know she is getting a Leapster from my parents but other than that I do not know.
What's one thing on ...

I haven't tried yet, but I've been thinking of trying soon. Our theater only charges $2.00 to get in before 6:00, so I figure it's worth the try and if it doesn't work out then we're only out four bucks. I interested to hear how other JBs have done at the movies. I hope Libby enjoys Princess and the Frog.

I believe its partly to do with their teeth -I could be wrong but this is what I understand. The sucking action can aid an overbite and needing braces plus taking milk before bed and not cleaning teeth after can of course lead to unnecessary tooth decay. Also there's just a stigma about older toddlers walking around with bottles - your situation is not as severe as some, where the child has ...

Good morning!
Jane - I want snow bad before Christmas, it just doesn't feel like it without it....but we are like you...we had snow in early October which is WAY too early here...and then it's been warm since (like in the 50's) Cold front is coming through tonight though..maybe we will get some snow with it.
Have fun cleaning..I am glad you are in the holiday spirit now:-)

My JB still needs her nap. She *can* miss it if necessary (in other words we're out being busy), but she usually ends up dozing in the late afternoon for at least a short while to get through to bedtime. In our house, JB's bedtime is a bit later so that we can all have good family time together. Her big sis goes to bed between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. JB usually goes to bed shortly thereafter ...

Halo has a lot and it gets really hard not to repeat them because they're just so stinkin' cute.
When she can't get her cover over her feet and up to her neck she'll yell for us and say "You gotta cover up me!"
When we're driving down the road she'll look down every street we pass and tell me why we can't "take that path." It's usually because of crocodiles or monsters. "Don't take ...

What types of wild animals do you see on a regular basis, minus birds and squirrels? Ummm, none really. I don't live in the country. :) We see Small Fry, the baby bunny that lives in our yard but I don't think he really counts.
When was your last vacation and when is your next? We were just out of town for the Nascar races a couple weeks ago and I know we are planning a family ...

Audrey LOVES to be girly too! She would wear dresses everyday if I let her. She loves to have her hair fixed and always wants bows in it. She loves to play in my make-up too and LOVES pink. She is not as girly-girly as Libby sounds, but I wouldn't worry about it. It's her right to be that way, SHE'S A GIRL! I personally love having a girl that loves to dress up!

Does JB still nap well for you? Mostly
What annoys you most when driving? People who pull out in front of you then don't step on it. Just wait for me to go then!
Who feeds the pets at home (if you have them)? No pets for me, our fish died...and it was Jason and Ava's thing to feed the fish at night anyway
Are you listening to Christmas music at all yet? Nope.

Both of our girls have a little rolling suitcase/backpack so they can put a few little things in it and it also keeps them busy rolling it through the airport. They feel very big and important! This sounds strange but I find it's easier for me to travel alone with the girls than with other people because we have a routine, KWIM? I also make a big deal of the girls being my ' helpers' if Daddy ...
