Kept getting an error when I tried to reply...Ugh. Crystal - I was contemplating the Mirena but I think we will opt for the snip for Nick instead.

Boo to you too! That's great Rachel. What are you doing? I really need to break Braxton from nursing so much at night. I have a headache... again. I'm on antibiotics for a sinus infection. Also--TMI (but where else can I share something like this? certainly not FB LOL) Anyway, I got a Mirena IUD put in almost 4 weeks ago and I have been bleeding ever since. And I had just stopped my period, so I've had like a 5 week period....

Crystal, three girls at work have that Mirena and it makes me VERY GLAD I never got one. They bleed like Hades for several weeks at first, and ever since they have had BAD cramping with their periods. Rachel - YAY Wells! How's it feel to get more sleep? lol HI ABBEY!!!!! Ummm...that's all I remember other than Ashley actually getting a few WEEKS off from classes. Brat. lol. Today sucked, so I am going to go nurse my mental wounds...

How do you get rid of toys?
Published (2009-11-28 21:23:00)
I do all of these : Regift (to my younger nephews usually) Give them to the Mexicans at the carwash down the street (they always appreciate things for their kids) recycle them if they're plastic and they're not good enough to give to someone else

go to freecycle dot org and sign up for your local one.? Post any toys that you want to get rid of there, someone is sure to gobble them up!? Or if they are in a like new condition- post them on craigslist, you may get something for them. ?

I'm almost in tears laughing over this thread!? I never really thought twice about whatever I was saying.? I didn't know there was a "right" way or a "wrong" way to handle the situation. I?have always just said?"Nooooope...that's for when you grow up!!!" and they always stopped.?That has?seemed to get us past this phase, I think, but maybe it will crop up again?? I don't know.? I hope not in...

God and religion in school...
Published (2009-11-30 14:22:00)
My DD is in public Kinder. they don't really discuss religion. However their principal allows celebration of Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, etc. Although they are religious holidays the religious aspect of the celebration is left out. I wouldn't mind if religion were discussed, as long as it was unbiased. I just don't think that could happen. We have several private religious schools in the area, and if they were better from an...

Well, we put him in the bunk bed last night and he screamed as though we were killing him. We went in 4 times to put him back in bed. Finally, we just let him cry and crept in 10 minutes later to find him sleeping on the floor. Nick put him back in the bed so we will see what we find this morning. Everyone else is still sleeping and I am heading out to run.

I couldn't tell you a thing about policies in public school yet. As far as how I feel about it... The constitution guarantees freedom OF religion, not freedom from it. How are we to raise well rounded kids if they don't learn about them?

It amazed me how quickly the second one went compared to the first. The third must be even quicker! I'm glad you are all doing well.

Okay, I am no help right now. I just can't believe she actually said she was trying to make her buns feel good. I think if she understands that much, you can tell her to do it in her room.

We haven't done it yet, so I don't know how it will go, but we told Alex that we need to go through her toys and "put some away" to make room for Christmas toys. I'll keep talking about it this week and hopefully we'll tackle just after Thanksgiving (before Christmas decorations go up). Last time DH and I just did it after she went to sleep. We put away baby toys, threw away cheapy toys/junk,...
