Woo hoo!! I can see signs of decreased bodyfat already! My scale still jumps from 17% to 21% BF depending on what conditions I use it under. I'll put up new pics this weekend! I've found it not only easy, but enjoyable just "eating to live". I look at everything I eat as fuel, and I can't stand missing a workout! I'd work out more if I didn't have to give my muscles rest. I've switched ...

Hey my name is Eric and this is my second journal. I think I needed a new one now. My goal is to get big. Gain muscle and I'm not going to concern myself too much with counting. I'm going to do what I'm doing now but just eat more. Also my lunches will probably change. Right now I cook two meals one for my wife and one for me. Mine is to hit my macros and hers is just another meal, that is ...

I am starting this log to chronicle my process recovering from injuries I sustained while training for a marathon last year. I was up to 20 miles on my longest runs and a month away from the marathon, when I tore my left meniscus and partially ruptured my left achilles. I was getting back to exellent shape, but had to cut back on my workouts when I had arthro to repair my knee in October. After...

Only those who do nothing make no mistakes I really like this quote because it can mean so many different things. It conveys an incentive to action without being an imperative to move. Only those who do nothing feel no pain. Only those who do nothing feel no joy. Sometimes I do nothing to avoid the pain, and I think that's ...

Well once again I slept through the morning cardio time frame. Then went to a bbq at work so I left my healthy lunch in the fridge. I went to the gym after work and got my shoulder workout in. Before I went i knew i would be draggin so i took a a sublingual B12, works great to give you a little boost of energy. Shoulder workout was great totally tired at the end. But I had to make...

(I couldn't think of a clever thread title like the rest of y'all!) Over the last three months I have gained 20 lbs. Beer. Sweet beer...and all the food I ate when I was buzzed and laughing and not paying attention to (and not caring about) what I was eating. Hey, I was having fun! The way my pants would fit me the next day never crossed my mind. So, in three months I have managed to ...

Ok guys and gals...It is time I start a journal and to stop posting in other threads about my journey. This is just a quick hello before my workout and I will post more information about me later. Some people now that I know have told me I could body build if I wanted to. I kinda just push it aside but they say I have the build for it? We will see how far I can push myself for my goals and ...

Those of you who read my journals know where I am at. For those who are new to reading my drivel....a quick sumary. Several years back I was in the best shape of my life, single digit bodyfat and respectable levels of strength. A car wreck that nearly killed me, numerous injuries and three years of life without the gym left me in ruins. (You can see a picture of where I was at a...

The purpose of this journal is chronicle my efforts to rehab my lower back following a nasty spill I took while playing basketball as well as fixing some latent issues related to my car wreck. A little about me.... I have worked out on and off for roughly 18 years. I did a lot of dumb things early on and finally started doing things right when I found JSF. I first joined the JSF forums in ...
