Really silly of me but I mistakenly connected the battery to wrong polarity (as it sparked I pulled away and
reconnected) Boat – 240 efi xtreme – started and ran fine but battery no longer charging, is there the possibility that it’s just a blown fuse or am I in for a nasty surprise?

Hi all the latch on the engine cover of my tango is badly corroded and I'm trying to find a replacement. Have searched as best I can but had no luck so far - does anyone know what the particualr latch is called or can point to a supplier. Any help appreciated

Hello, this is my first post... I am finishing up my winter project (1998
Sportster 1800), and was getting ready to break-in my new engines. my question is can i put one type of oil for the oil resivoir and mix the other type of oil with my first tank of gas. i intend to use the same oil im using for the oil resivoir to top off when i need to.

Does anyone have any info rebuilding a 2001
mercury 2.5 v6 240 efi . my service manual says not to mismatch rods and pistons because there matched , now if a piston goes do you have to replace the rod as well . any info or direction on this rebuild would be greatly apprecitated , looking for best place for parts $$, also someone who does crankshaft grinding in the ct. ma. ri. area . thanks...

During the oil change I noticed that my drive housing has some worn fins. The impeller
