Would have been smoother and jazzier if the guitar tone had less treble, and maybe a touch of long decay reverb. pretty unique though.

There were some wicked 2D fighting games for the Saturn.
It was a really bad decision from Sega to focus on 2D performance unlike the Playstation which was mainly about 3D (at least marketing wise).

The RG4XX series originally started in Japan in 93, Korea from 94-96, and then back to Japan up until 2003 (think those were the years).
I'd be surprised if the 4XX series moves back to Japan again.

Well the thing about Shreddy guitars is that, in theory, They're just built to high performance standards so that you can play really crazy fast stuff on them. That also makes it easier to play anything else.
I think Ibanez makes lots of sense for non-shredders. They also make lots of guitars that most shredders would never buy.
