Credit card extortion.

Ya, I know Yada yada yada, pay cash, which I usually do. Like I said I can, and will pay it off. It is just the principle of it. You have a card for years to develop a credit rating. Pay on time 95% of the time and then they pull this crap. Then you get the Ooooooooo, you canceled a card!! That will hurt your credit rating. You always pay cash, Ooooooooooo you haven't developed enough good credit risk, that will hurt you credit rating....

Willy's Cube

Found these pics on a Cube website. I believe the 4x4 version of the Cube has an electric motor that cuts in to drive the rear wheels?? I think ground clearance may be a bit of an issue though. I find it slightly more Interesting than that Ponced Out Panda thingy.

dealers have to low-ball you b/c they are taking a risk. a simple test drive of your used car doesn't really tell them the history of your vehicle (neither does a carfax either! lol). also, there is no guarantee that they can sell the car immediately after you trade it in and they service it/inspect it. it could be sitting on their lot for months or even a year. at that point, their profit margin will have shrunk b/c the vehicle loses...

I think PA is number 3 for deer collisions. If I remember correctly, West Virginia is number one, and I forget number 2 on the list, but it might be Mich. This time of year we all need to be vigilant in looking for deer long the roads, especially the right before and an hour after dark, and first thing in the mornings. It's their mating season, and they go crazy and do stupid things. I guess we would to if we could only mate 2 weeks out...

Sorry to hear of your loss. Our pup (should say dog 70lb Husky) is 4 years old and a member of family and we would be sad without him. I hope you have fond memories.

Big Panda I suspect Roche is advertising the heck out of Boniva because the patent has not expired and a generic equivalent is not available yet. My insurance covers all prescriptions except a co-payment of $x so if a generic is not available well the insurance company pays the rest. Incentive is for Roche to get as many doctors to prescribe this. As I write listening to an ad for ...

Previously it was reported that the suspect was shot dead, but he was merely shot and wounded. The suspect is being held by authorities now, and is in stable condition.

You can't go there with out oil company conspiracies, and links to the right wing dirty tricks committee. This is sad. I really had my eye on one of those 2010 electric Patriots.
Wasn't Fiat involvement part of "the deal"? If Marchionne killed the project, the meddling US government shouldn't have any problem getting it un-killed as some kind of catch 22.

All this stuff is interesting and yet it isn't. It is interesting to speculate about what they might do when we see this kind of report. However, many Patriot owners are like me where they bought a Patriot with a life time warranty and don't really have any desire to get a different one. The one Patriot that could possibly make me change that mindset is an EV unit, but some say they have canned ...

Sounds like 1) You paid a little too much for your Patriot to begin with and 2) The dealer was just shooting from the hip and didn't really do much research. Think $2500 in both directions and you only lost $5K out the door.

I have been shopping the small suv market before I ordered the pat. I ordered the FDII for the off road worthyness. No other small suv is as capable as the pat besides the lardrover LR3, and the wrangler. the pat may not have solid axles, or any of that but it still trucks through most off road situations besides rock climbing.
