DYK my big excitement of today was finding my LOST DVDs had arrived? DYK a friend from Jessica's playgroup posted on FB last week that Amazon had a one day sale, seasons?1 to 5 for $72? DYK I had wanted to wait for a series boxed set but this was too good a deal to pass up? DYK I think I am going to break out season 1 right now b/c DH took the kids out for a magic show and dinner and I finished cleaning so I deserve a break?

I didn't give Kole pants or a pullup for a while. If we were home he was naked form the waist?down.?He pooped on the floor a few times. Once he had to poop and brought me a pullup to put on him. I said no you have to poop in the potty and bribed with candy. Finally he did it and hasn't pooped his pant since. Kole hated poop touching him. So I kept explain it wouldn't touch him if you put it in the potty. GL

Clare was late with her mobility.? Her ped was also concerned so we started PT services just before her first birthday.? Things progressed quickly for her.? She started crawling at 13 months then walking 15 months.? She is doing fine now except that she still can't jump.

You can add that I'm having a baby girl to the list :)? I still can't quite grasp what it is going to be like to have 3 girls, but it should be fun! Someone just asked me yesterday if we'll have more kids after this one, and my reply was: yes?? I think we would like at least one more, but we will definitely be waiting at least 3 years and then reevaluating.? I know my limits and 3 kids in 3 years is definitely going to be...

My brother's 4 kids all were walking between 7-10 months and my sister's?2 by 10 months as well.? My mother tells me I didn't walk until 14 months old?and when I did start to walk I never fell.? She thinks I was just waiting until I was sure.? She also tells me that I was an early talker. My 5 year old didn't sit on her own until about 8-9 months, never crawled ( she would scoot on her bottom) and while she?did start...

diapers at night and nap time. Sippy cups and I think that is it. The sippy cups are actually unnecessary. But his big brother is terrible at the regular cup so I just give the sippy to both of them. If SB had one then ds would want one and we would have a fight on our hands.

Well, we have about 10 or so things for SB, so now I have to decide which to give him for Christmas and which to hold aside for his birthday. He is very much a BOY, so I don't know if a lot of his gifts would translate very well to a girl (lots of trucks, etc.,), but here are a few things we got him: The Fisher Price Discovery Channel Viewmaster (along with some extra reels about baby jungle animals). We're getting Marissa a Fisher-Price dollhouse and some furniture to go with it. Her older sister is getting the Fisher-Price Handy Manny Repair Shop. I figure that they'll both end up playing with each other's toys and it'll keep them busy.

That just sucks! I can't believe it. And what terrible timing. I've had several incidents of credit card fraud and it makes you feel so violated and vulnerable.
And it makes me so mad! Who are these people and what right do they have? What compels someone to do something they know is so wrong?
I hope it all gets straightened out quickly.

Definitely not just your SB! Shannon has been awful lately! I told DH yesterday that I think that the "terrible 2's" are going to be worse when she turns 3 :( She does OK with playing by herself, but she is constantly taking toys away from DD2 or pushing her over or just being mean to her. I can defiantly sympathize with you. My DH was adamant about not having another child and I was heartbroken...then one day out of no where he changed his mind.
I think when you start reading posts from people TTC and pregnancy news it can conjure up old feelings...I think its completely normal to feel the way you do.

Thanks, Spencer! I'm due 8/18/10 and will find out gender around 20 weeks (which would be sometime in April). I have SB plus my older DS. I don't know if I can answer that question! DH and I had originally said we wanted four kids, but I need to see if I can handle three first.

I would like to join to TTC thread formally. I have been on this board since the EC but have been more of a lurker.
We have 2 wonderful kids, a 4 year old and our SB.
We are currently on Cycle #3 of TTC #3. I am on CD 19, and 9 DPO...waiting and going crazy here in the TWW.

Xander didn't really walk until he was something like 16 or 17 months (I've already forgotten exactly). He was a really early crawler (6 1/2 months) so I thought he'd walk early too but instead I guess he was such a good crawler that he felt he didn't need to walk. I've been getting them about once a year but it's been just about a year since the last time and I'm probably going to wait till next summer or so to do it again. His school picture came out pretty nice, so I may order some from that. I love to get them done but I always spend too much money so I'm finding the best approach is simply not to go!
