Hey Razzy, what's that cool geiger-counter lookin' doohickey between the head and the cab? Oh, it's rack effects. The pic's a little blurry so I thought it was one crazy-lookin' device. I thought it might be a vintage tape-delay machine or a flux capacitor or something.

First off, what kind of music do you play? If you're into metal, EMG's are very popular, and you might just have an issue with how the G1 itself sounds, (I've never played with one, so I have no idea what they're like.) or how you've got everything set on it.

To much for me to remember, all the standard Midwestern Thanksgiving stuff.
The only somewhat unusual things (in modern times) on the table was venison and wild turkey.
Edit: we did have the assembly line turkey as well, the wild stuff tastes nothing like the manufactured, most people don't like wild.

I believe that creativity is something you are born with. That's not to say, however, that you can't still derive enjoyment from making music. You don't have to have the natural ability to do something in order to enjoy doing it and become proficient, it just takes a bit more work than for someone who does. It just becomes one of life's challenges to meet.

You should be able to get somethng at least close enough, although you might not be able to get the same "air" as a tube amp.
Sit down with the guitar and amp and start playing with the knobs. I don't know what it sounds like of course, but I would guess things are sounding a little bright and thin, judging from what you're using. I'd start with rolling off the highs some and boosting the lows...

Dysfunctional IS the norm.....so I voted CPP.
Dads dead..do see my Mom.....Get along well enough. We were never particularly close..though there have never been any real problems between us either.
I have alot of respect and love for the madness that she endured when we all grew up.
Probably explains why she's crazier than a ******house rat now..lol

I'm looking for a tube amp, but as I know almost nothing about various manufacturers and the selection in local stores for me to try out is pretty slim, I thought I'd ask around for some advice.
I currently have a solid-state Roland Cube 15, but the sound is a bit dullish, so I've thought about switching.

I'm glad to hear Sarah is doing better Keith.
The weather starts to be depressing here as well, the raining season is starting, so it's always dark... and wet.
The job is going great though, everybody including our bosses love us here in Surabaya. And as much as I was scared not to have any work a few months back, now I have secured contracts for the year to come, and even more....

D2P, how are ya?
I'm always amazed at the different genres of music around here.
I guess the guitar was your Squier '51. Is that a tele with P-90s added later? I have a Squier Tele that I added some Muy Grande pickups. I buy my guitars cheap, then modify the crap out of them.
Your voice is perfect for this song. You carry a tune really well.
