Could be.. or they were worked most of all. Tops of thighs is where your muscle start and when they are being worked, are pulling on the tendons, so that's where they get sore too.

I done trained. I'm beat, but did it anyway. Low volume, though. Mobility/Warmup Snatch, 16kg - I just did a lot to work on form. I need the help in the drop and catch dept, so that's what I concentrated on. I started with a set of 10 per side, and dropped reps as the form slid. About 10/8/8/5/5 I think Double Clean & Jerk, 24kg - 5/5/5/5/5 This was really tough. The dip is harder than it needs to be. Not sure why. With one...

I threw in the towel today and decided to head straight home from work, and do nothing. :P I woke up feeling pretty tired this morning, and it never abated. It actually worsened as the day progressed. I'm pretty certain that last night's workout was more draining than I thought, but I also didn't eat much today. I was out for much of it at meetings, and didn't chow down on the sandwich platters they had like I normally...

I was a bit surprised the other night, when one of the veteran runners (and a marathoner) told me she thinks I'll do great, and that I'm closer to marathon conditioning than I think. I don't know about the latter yet, but that made me feel more assured for my upcoming half. What a great thing to hear! And we all have confidence you will kick butt in the...

I'll be at family from Wed night through Monday noon, so it will be a challenge. I'll only be able to guestimate my food calories. Normally I'd probably blow off guestimating, but from past experience, guestimating is MUCH better than blowing off counting. Say I guestimate 2200 cal and it really was 2600 cal, but I blow off counting and could easily eat 4500 cal! I was going to do a week diet break. But I think I have changed my...

OK, well, stage 1 is about a month or so. You can't gain that much muscle in a month. And stage 2 is about 3 weeks, right? You can't lose much muscle in 3 weeks. Maybe you were retaining some water in your muscles, as a newbie and now that water retention has gone down.

Ok so, I'm not going to lie. Last night I had an astonishing realization that my college gym would be empty in the early morning, I was right too, cuz its a college campus, most of us usually aren't up until noon. Weight UP or DOWN does not happen in a linear fashion. One thing I learned from working with Alan for a full year is that you only make changes once you are really certain of the data that you are seeing. (I mean really certain) I am currently bulking and am eating at about 1-2 hundred kcals above normal maintainance per day. Last week I put on 4 lbs. I ain't changing a thing in my diet ...

Anyway, I'm 31-years-old, a native Bronxite, cat fanatic and someone who started getting serious about fitness 2 years ago. I found FLZine through Leigh Peele's AvidityFitness site, and then found my way here....
