the red tape and process of signing documents, can take a couple of weeks, throw in Xmas, and you have mid Jan. Due dilligence, various departments having to review etc... IF this rumour/info is true...

just catching up with the posts today i can't belive it delighty has made yet another blue tick does he not know that the new years resolution are made at new year. nick, mcvite1 does sound to be genuine to me i hope im not wrong but what i cannot work out is if we are the prefared bidder and the others have been told they have not been successfull what could be holding both parties from saying so ?

The problem with tips is by the time you drew our attention to it the rise had happened. then results yesterday was an average day and today all square. You might care to know that NTOG was on the front page of II and look where their share price has gone every since!

to believe any of these rumours I would need a few more facts... timetable of announcements, values etc... something a bit more to indicated that the poster hastnt just made it up...
Not saying I dont beleive anyone, but until proven otherwise, it is just rumour... I wonder if on the volker board, someone is saying Jarvis havent got it ;-)

I believe 'scam' may be the word you are searching for. Followed by 'FSA', 'investigate' and 'arrest'...
I hope to be proved wrong, but this seems like BS.
