Gentlemen, Thank you for the replies. I have been doing my homework on my install. I know that I will be required to cut off my factory control arm mounts in order to install my bolt on belly pan. The new long arms will mount direct to the belly pan. I have most of the required tools needed, but there are a few that I have to purchase. Can I pick up the anti seize at most automotive stores? Also, which member is Dan? I would like to ask him a...

Okay, here is the deal. I have decided to go a different route on the Jeep project so I would like to swap my F350 60 front for a K30 front axle. I\'d prefer one from a CUCV with the 4.56 gears as I have a 14 bolt rear from a CUCV already but I am open to any good Chevy 60 front axle. My intent is to swap axles straight accross. What I have is a 88 model F350 front, Hight Pinion, driver drop, king pin Ford from axle. It is a complete from...

So going the new transmission route with the warranty is not worth the extra $. But yes on the custom radiator with external cooling. ??? It does not get THAT cold. I am in central Alabama. We hover in the 30\'s, for a little while, but dip below for only short times, and rarely. And even in my travels, I am NOT going cold Gimme HOT STEAMY Southern summer ANY day over any kind of white cold stuff

I might have one by late next week if you can hold off. If the current TC on the jeep I am picking up works, then I\'ll have an extra NP231. I am located in Nashville so it shouldn\'t be hard to make the exchange. Shoot me an email with your contact info at mbogosia@comcast.net .

I am excited about this! The frame on my CJ7 is rotted in the usual places, but perhaps beyond repair.
I ran accross a guy that had a 80 CJ7 frame for sale, already pulled. Light surface rust, a couple of body mounts need replacing so I will probably replace them all at the same time.
Picked it up, very solid ecxept for the above mentioned.
50 bucks!!!!
Now I just need to ...

Ive never heard of anyone doing it, but it would be possible with a fair amount of fabrication. I\'m thinking the main points would be adapting a pedal set to fit under the dash along with finding a place to mount the clutch master cylinder, and then getting the shifter to work with the console.
