New guy with some questions..

Thanks! I figured it probably would tow it without too much drive train damage a couple of times a year, but thought I'd check to be sure. I have backing plates for the wheels with cylinders, so hopefully I'll get some hydraulic surge brakes on it. - I guesss I should have mentioned it's an '89 spacecab model. Thanks agin, Daniel

loud ticking noise 3.2 L
Published (2009-11-20 14:37:00)
Ok we got the timing belt tensioner replaced and the loud ticking noise at under 2200 rpms went away. we still hear a much softer ticking from the lifters but that is fairly normal for this engine. The repair for the tensioner replacement is much less expensive that lifter replacement. When the ticking noise is quite loud and stops at around 2200rpms it is most likely the tensioner that needs replacement.

Hello,
I own a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo with the 3.2 (6VD1) engine, I am rebuilding the engine, however according to the service manual the main cylinder head bolts need to be replaced by new bolts, I tried finding bolts for my car everywhere, I can't seem to find them, however I did find the bolts for the 1998-newer 6VD1 engine.
My question is, can I use the old bolts or ...

Reverse lights are very useful in the required condition in providing signals to other vehicles moving on the road. They should be working properly.

Hydraulic lifter. As the pressure builds at around the 2k rpm it's enough to stop it clicking.
Our 97 does it sometimes. Start - tick - wait - it stops. Start next time and no ticking. An oil change helps, but the best results are after a good flush with mystery oil. We do that about every 50k or so. It won't tick for a long time after that.
