The neutral hammer grip kills my elbows more then anything. I have tried them all different ways with no luck, massive pain in either my shoulder or elbow. Getting old sucks, and old injuries suck even more.

You are correct Doby. Our founding fathers wanted America to be as close to an anarchic society as possible. However, things started coming apart almost right away. It didn't take long for politicians to learn that they would be more easily elected by promising people handouts. & we have continued down that path ever since, until finally, we have reached the point we are at now. if your gym has it try something with a neutral grip (thumbs towards your face, like you are holding a hammer) I have problems with wide grip chins as well but not with anything neutral gripped.

If you are 25% you should be eating to drop the bodyfat. At 25% unless you have an insane amount of muscle on you, you will just look like a fat guy that doesn't lift weights.

Is there not another gym nearby with better equipment. In a gym like that
you are vastly limiting yourself. I have never done the 20 rep squat
program or even looked at it, but what is stopping you from just throwing
in 20 rep squats from time to time while staying on stronglifts?

Although 4k-5k calories a day must be hard you could try increasing this:
Oils: very high in calories and are 100% fat.
Meat or eggs: high in fat and protein, lots of calories and no carbs

I've talked to some oly lifters (in fact my gym has a former European silver medalist, and all the strongmen that train there [we have a national competitor, even] utilise many oly movements such as cleans and snatches from shoulder level) but you'd really have to talk to them yourself.
