I don't see a real reason at this point to use an EFI partition instead of /Extra under OSX unless you're doing something special like sharing the EFI partition across multiple OSX installs. If you installed windows with an EFI partition, then you can't get rid of it unless you move your BCD store to a different partition such as the old traditional window's C: You can do that with bcdedit but it's not user friendly....

If you burned it in Windows it probably only burned the windows partition, you need to add the HFS+ partition to your compilation..... Or use something like PowerISO to burn it as it mounts both the Windows and Mac parts in the image! SticMAC

There's few choice at this time for coolers on LGA 1156, if you don't want to add the cost of an adapter to the heatsink itself. The popular Scythe Mugen 2 is not compatible yet*, though Scythe told people they would release a revision by October. UPDATE: The original 10.5.6 install seems to go fine. Trouble ensues for sure with the 10.5.8 combo update. Graphics, USB and Airport kexts are updated, and things just don't work correctly without booting into safe mode with the 10.5.8 kernel with cpus=1 set. I have some more work to do. I am going to try to get back to a working 10.5.7 with combo updates, because I tried with ...

USB Bluetooth good for SL? All models of mini 311 on sale in Canada do not include bluetooth. If I were to get a usb mini BT dongle, e.g., Kensington, would that play nicely with Snow Leopard? Would that create any issue with sleep?
