I went to disk utility and repaired permissions, and it still comes up with the same errors every time it boots up. Sound doesn't work.

UPDATE: The original 10.5.6 install seems to go fine. Trouble ensues for sure with the 10.5.8 combo update. Graphics, USB and Airport kexts are updated, and things just don't work correctly without booting into safe mode with the 10.5.8 kernel with cpus=1 set. I have some more work to do. What disk you are using to install from? Try booting with other kernels (if any available on the install disk). e.g. CODE -v voodoo for verbose mode an voodoo kernel.

USB Bluetooth good for SL? All models of mini 311 on sale in Canada do not include bluetooth. If I were to get a usb mini BT dongle, e.g., Kensington, would that play nicely with Snow Leopard? Would that create any issue with sleep?
