Again, attempt to duplicate the condition/noise, at the time you hear it stay in the throttle and depress the clutch (do not over-rev engine). Answer this question, does the noise go away when the clutch pedal is depressed maintaining the same engine RPM as when you were in gear? IMHO, if noise goes away in nuetral or with clutch pedal depressed it is TRANSMISSION GEAR NOISE.

Hello all. I am a long time car enthusiast that has had many different make and model cars over the years. I currently own a '06 Corvette Z06 and a heavily modded '94 Mustang Cobra (550rwhp). I am the original owner of both. I recently got married and am in need of a more practical car. I am of the thinking that the STI will fill the bill for me. I am keeping the Vette and have a buyer for my ...

If you like the Genesis I really dont see a reason why not to do it. I project car is a fun for the long run. You only got 20k on the 06 so it will sell well too.

How Long do the stock motors last? How long do the stock motors usually last for without modding them and occasional spirited driving?
Looking to get a STI and am curious about how long it will last.

I have an STI and love it, no pics sorry. But trust me when i say this, i've been through it many times before, your remembrance of the WRX only pulls on the good aspects. Keep that Gorgeous 335 and don't look back. unless there is a financial strain from owning the 335, keep it keep it keep it. i have glorified previously owned cars, bought another one, and realized they weren't as good as ...

I wouldn't recomend a meth setup if quick removal is on you're list. It will need to tap into you're top mount, and you'll need a tank in the trunk+ wiring.
I would just get a catted downpipe, cobb protune, and cai. If you want a little extra power get a race gas tune as well. Then just get a 5gal of desired octane from a race shop or carrying gas station. I used to mix 5gal of 100oct or ...

I stomped a Harley the other day from a dig. I'm not sure which model it was. I raced a Maserati Gran Turismo on the freeway from 60 to about 140 and it was a dead heat. I had about a 1 car lead until we hit about 120 and then he started closing the gap. I raced a Porsche Carrera GT in my 06 and got my ass handed to me. I knew it would stomp me but I wanted to hear him open up the car. It ...
