Hi Jon, Configure them as web proxy clients and you will then get URLs in the logs as ISA will do the DNS lookups, not the clients. This should help: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb794762.aspx Cheers JJ

Published (2009-12-18 21:55:00)
I have ISA 2006 configured with a single NIC in an enterprise array with two members. I've attempted to install a second nic to establish the heartbeat (interarray communications link) between the two nodes and have not been able to get a ping response between the two hosts. Anyone done this before? Any special steps I need to do to get this to work? THanks.

Hi, don“t know exactly what you meant, but... You can install an ISA firewall Standard Edition, SQL Server Std Ed. (no need of SQL, you can use MSDE) and join Windows to domain BEFORE install ISA. One most important thing: install ISA on a separate machine (with no add services) Regards, Paulo Oliveira.

Hi, IPSec VPN client and the Firewall Clinet are mutually exclusive The Firewall Client only works with TCP and UDP protocols, hence IPSec is not included/supported. You have to disable the Firewall Client when you need to use an IPsec VPN client...no workarounds, I believe... Cheers JJ
