As good as X2 was, Wolverine simply has better action without sacrificing the heart or character development or the emotion that made this franchise the juggernaut that it has turned out to be. This movie stands on its own, as its own Wolverine. People who've never seen any of the other movies can go and see it and enjoy it. I saw it with two people that have never seen any X-Men stuff and they loved it. One of the year’s best....

eh, I think you're being a little hard on Xavier here. How about Emma inadvertantly wipes out his memory, because the 'trauma' of the escape and her sister death have triggered her latent telepathy. She 'felt' Silverfox die and in anguish lashed out, wanted to forget eveything and wish it never happened. Unfortunately, Wolverine, being closet to Silverfox, get the brunt of the 'attack', which puts the psychic...

Why didn't Xavier ask Logan to join him Why would he? He didn't know who Wolverine was, he never met him, and never saw him. Even if he could sense him, e was probably more concerned with Cyclops and everyone else he came to save. You can't save them all, for Xavier Wolverine at the time was probably just some random douche who happened to be there that slipped away. why didn't Xavier restore his memory in the first movie,...

Decapitate Logan, though done in such a manner that his severed head is left relatively close to his body, thus we can see the process of him healing from even this for the first time in the live-action franchise. Seeing how he spinal cord is covered with adamantium how would you separate his head from body

It's not that the claws themselves are dumb. It's that decades of history and lovely balanced plotlines are completely destroyed by changing the claws. Retcons suck. The whole wolf people thing would suck even if it weren't a retcon. What fun is being cool if you can't wear a sombrero? http://momismean.deviantart.com/

Forget about any flashbacks with captain america, fox doesn't own the rights to him if they did he'd probably be mentioned in this, but he isn't. "Most movies I like are usually the hated ones..."

Well I thought he/she knew who Victor Creed was...Sabretooth. Cause he said "what happen to Victor in the end? Did he died?" I also thought he said that he never showed up in the future X-Men movies but i looked back and he/she only said he never showed up in the X-Men movies. That's when I realized he doesn't know who Victor Creed is and who he later became in X-Men 1...Sabretooth.

I don't think Creed wants to kill Logan, I think he just wants to beat him into submission because in his emotionally damaged mind this is the only way to get his brother back. And I don't think Logan wanted to kill Creed either, as long as Creed wasn't threatening Kayla, he just didn't want anything more to do with him.

ANY idea is better than that stupid magic bullet crap.
But that doesn't make your any idea any good - why would Xavier have any interest is wiping out his memory?

Well, he wasn't quite like he is in the comics (his accent is not quite as thick and he doesn't have red eyes) but I think Taylor portrayed him really well. I'd love to see him reprise his role at some point. He's certainly got the "looks" for it, lol! He just needs to work on the accent a bit but except for that, I thought he was great. I couldn't fault him.

I just watched it and started reading some of the responses on this discussion board.
I'm amazed at how many people think it's great to alter things to the point where they barely even resemble the material they originated from.
When did it become so in vogue to butcher and bastardize once iconic characters? Today, it seems that people will laud a movie based on how much the producers ...

Good question. I don't see why the ratings board has so much trouble with some blood. Do they think people can't deduct that blood flows under the skin? There are some seriously dumb things that can bump a rating from PG-13 to R.
