Great Movie, However how did

I agree, I have seen both films and this beat SM by a clear mile in my opinion. Mind you the year Ray beat The Aviator I was equally as shocked, Ray was rubbish in comparison. I loved this film and thought Brat Pitt and Cate Blanchett were brilliant in it. BOO Last Film: HP & THBP 9/10 Last DVD: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 10/10

They favor indie films, which is total BS. Even though some Indie films are good, they shouldn't just hand them away to them.

Could you atleast explain why you did not like the romantic parts instead of just pointing it out? I'm actually not very into romantic movies at all yet really liked the way it flowed in this film.

Significance of Hurricane Katrina?
Published (2009-11-04 20:30:00)
From the trivia section: "The hummingbird is the only bird in the world that can fly backwards. All hurricanes spin counter-clockwise. These, among other "backward" motifs involving clocks and so on, tie in with the major thematic elements related to Benjamin Button living life in reverse."

Maybe that they are not really married and it was just a cover for some intelligence operation.

"Did I ever tell you I was struck by lightning seven times...one time I was making love to my wife, the lightning came right thru the window, and shot up my butt. Needless to say, we both had mighty fine orgasms."

and therefore when he is looking like a young child but is actually aged 80 or so... the dementia bought it to life.
But why would he have dementia of all things? Dementia is a physical condition, the brain is physical. As the body got younger, the brain would also get younger.
The only substantial "unraveling" of Benjamin's mental processes would come during the last year of his life, ...

You're right. Considering earlier work by David Fincher and Cate Blanchett this is a huge disappointment. It's a lot like Forrest Gump but even more boring and incoherent. Everybody is spewing silly pseudophilosophical nonsense for almost three hours and the title character seems semiretarded.

I actually was pretty disappointed by the actual ending, and your idea sounds pretty damn good to me! Are you a writer?

I know what you mean. I must admit I'm not really keen on either film, but I thought this was slightly better.

Benjamin and Queenies daughter where never close, I believe that the women working when Daisy meets the social worker (and Benjamin as a teenager) is Benjamin's sister, which would explain why she would be so understanding towards the situation. I think the character isn't irrelevant largely as it shows that Queenie didn't just love Benjamin as it was her only chance of having her own child....
