While not an ardent fan, I've always liked Jennifer Jones. A good actress and very beautiful. I still remember the very first time I saw her in A Song for Bernadette with my grandmother, who is a huge fan.
A sad day. RIP Jennifer.
Thanks arthurs for posting this thread here, it's Troll Central on Jennifer's IMDB board so at least one can pay respects to her elsewhere on IMDB.

I wouldn't have problem with Williams because I think she would really study MM and play her as a real person not a
dumb blonde with a baby voice. That being said I'd rather Williams play MM in an actual biopic, not this made up tabloid garbage.

I have to LOL at the irony that goes totally over people's heads when they make claims like "empty-headed" in regards to Marilyn.

Judy was really smart, she'd an IQ of 172. Marilyn has never stated that she took an IQ test and there are no records indicating she did, but it has been widely reported her IQ was in and around 163. Whatever her IQ number was, she was definitely a smart lady too.
I read this once on the ES board - but it originally came from the Judy Holliday

I'm not sure about the MM ones, but I know there was some yucky porn star who went by the name Tyra Banxxx. So the real Tyra Banks eventually brought the girl on her talk show then eventually told her she legally can't use her name anymore. Maybe if the MM estate actually went after them, but maybe they don't care too much or don't even know about it.

Marilyn. Her image is not only more easily recognisable, but she is more often imitated than Michael. I think the answer to this one is too obvious, a more challenging comparison of
iconic status would be between Marilyn and Elvis (and I think Elvis would win that one).

I remember reading somewhere that they got along well enough during the filming of "
Clash By Night" - but I don't remember where exactly I read it. (Although it shouldn't be too difficult to find out.)
I find this question particularly interesting because of poor Babs's childhood: she lost her mother when she was four (in particularly tragic circumstances) and her father only two weeks ...
