Understood :) I think they kept up the 'movement' vision trick in TLW, and rather stupidly took the piss out of it in JP3, so its not noticeable on screen. I dont think there's a point where you go 'Wait-It can SEE him?' Its only in the books that its retracted and replaced with a fresh theory.

Shouldn't you compare JP with another dinosaur movie? The films are totally different and are filled with different textures and surfaces.

You're absolutely right, that was the idea: get an island in Central America where the government doesn't care what happens on the island as long as money comes in. So the theatre in San Diego is one big plothole, haha!

It's not really a plot hole.
Despite of the fact it's not well explained in the TLW novel the real reason that lead the T.Rex to attack them even when they were still is because not all dinosaurs were affected by that same problem.
That also happened in the original novel, but the 2 T.Rexes had both that same problem.
It was more or less "random".
