I loved the old glamour look she was sporting in some parts, but the EXTREME makeup and wild pornstar hair in the limo and club were too much. Her face cant carry that much crap. No, she's just not cynical with extremely high expectiations for type of show this is. Gossip Girl was never a great show, simply a guilty pleasure. The first seven episodes of Season 1 were bland and mediocre. I trudge though it because it's very rare you see a show of this kind filmed in New York the way this one is. From an execution stand point, it seemed challangeing. It's hard enough filming a movie about ritzy New York...
