People are generally afraid of death. It's a common philosophical objection that
fear of death is irrational for the reasons you mention, but people persist in their fear because reason is not their only drive. Many other species are also driven to avoid death for evolutionary reasons.
I think it would've made more sense if people had just stopped caring and suicides had risen dramatically ...

I felt the pacing of the jokes didn't give me a chance to laugh. Everything they said was clever and funny but you never really got a chance to let it out. There were only a few times I laughed out loud.
Having said that I enjoyed the film. It was a very original and I was never bored.
I also thought the end was a bit weak. It was an edgy film showing a

If you're christian you might be offended by one or two scenes.
The movie didn't offend me at all but I did think it was about 15 minutes longer than it needed to be. There are also some really
funny moments, I'd recommend seeing it.

The movie never says that Jesus didn't exist. He did exist, that's a proven fact. However, there's no evidence of 'the man in the sky' or that Jesus was anything more than a man, which is the idea this movie goes along with.
