Hmmm, only ones that should be in there are Exorcist and Seven. The Ring was very scary but shouldn't be in a scariest ever list, nor should Misery. The Machinist and Requiem for a Dream weren't so much scary as they were emotionally powerful. Paranormal Activity REALLY shouldn't be on that list, I enjoyed it but come one... scariest movie ever? I think if you dropped Katie in the water, her fat ass would just sink to the bottom. ---------------------------------- Actually, fat and blubber is what makes animals float. If someone was nothing but muscle, then they sink rapidly. If anything, she would easily be floating an inch above the water.

Worst and most flawed movie EVER made As soon as I read this insipid subject line I knew there was no point in even bothering to read body of the message (I did though and it was exactly as I thought it would be). Only the most clueless dullard with absolutely no taste in movies whatsoever could possible label this movie the 'worst and most flawed movie EVER' It's a good thing we don't allow people like the OP to pass...

Go ahead and see it.....nothing happens for over an hour except for a few knocks. Its not the scariest movie ever as claimed. It's at best a well made student film.

I enjoyed the film, much better than the rest of the films currently out at the cinema in the UK. In fact im thinking of going to watch it again to see the different ending and compare, however I cant justify paying £9ish to the rip off cinema companies. Let us all know your reactions later or tomorrow to what you thought of it.

Oh, and just in case you think I was being thorough enough, that perhaps I am still avoiding answering the whole thing, resposes to Banshees post which you quoted follow: “I have to agree with iamtheher4u, this movie is not for people that have to see gore, violence and something happening every 2 mins. if thats all it takes to make you enjoy a horror film then your not a horror fan. the best horror films were made in the 60's...

Blair witch SUCKED! I didn't think this movie was a masterpiece but it was decent. The special effects were pretty good actually. I saw no fishing line and the scenes where Katie gets dragged and the Ouija board catching fire were done real well. The argument you attempt to create makes it sound like you never even watched the film!

thats the ending i just saw too & you're right the only scary part is the last 15 mins buts its ll implied with her screaming such raw yelps of anguish at viewing obviously what the ghost is viewing. I suppose she could have had hours to bury him in the backyard before relatives & cops arrived but she was probably too possessed to do real evil. I found her standing in the dark for many hours ...

you feel better now? now take one second to let this sink in. some people just don't like this movie, period. I'm a big horror fan, hell i even liked blair witch back in the day. Saw this one in theaters, and yeah i thought it was crap, over hyped crap.
