Dakota could have been good, but she's a few years older than Isabelle, and taller, so she wouldn't have been quite the right age. I think Dakota has a good acting range, and she proved in "Hide and Seek" that she can bring the creepy element to a character, but this role belonged to Isabelle. She won the part for a reason, and she was just excellent.

Yes, Michael. You are indeed a psychopath. Which is why you "walk the fine line between SuperHero and SuperVillain", right?

Just because it's not a teen-classic doesn't mean it's under-appreciated. The intelligent love this film.

Yeah, you did missed something. John was drunk and under the influence so his senses weren't as good as they would have been if he'd have been sober.

This has been discussed here before with many varying opinions but my approach was if you think you HAVE to get it on in the kitchen then at least cut the lights down to a firefly.

I love to think John survived and Esther too, but I do not want more pain for the Colemans. Besides, I have a bad feeling they'd kill Esther (and probably more Colemans) for sure in a sequel.

As I've said time and again, dear whitespirit. I don't "live" on this board as you do, so save the snarky jibes and commentary just because I don't know all the minutia therein, m'kay?
Thank you.

(Sarcasm) Because it's totally not right if a man cries over his son who almost died. ( End Sarcasm)
There's a difference between crying like a little girl and having you know a heart.

My top fave movies with twist endings are Orphan, The Sixth Sense & The Others.
There are a few more out there, I just can't really think of them off the top of my head.
Don't worry. You're going to Heaven.

I didn't take any of that stuff as clues to the ending, personally. It occurred to me after the twist was revealed why she locked the bathroom door, because she didn't want anyone to discover that she was actually fully developed. But I didn't think much of the ribbons at all, not knowing anything about such a disorder. And a lot of kids are afraid of the dentist.
