It is indeed the most popular, and as you pointed out, the one most commonly used in international situations, after to the expansion of the British empire and the industrial revolution. As a first language it is hardly the most spoken one in the world; as a second or third language, maybe. Also, you're exaggerating a little bit by saying you can go anywhere in China and find someone who speaks english, absolutely not true. There's...

I agree to an extent, but I thought the Goebbels character was a creep (the one from the movie, not the horror show who was the real Joseph Goebbels), and there was something about Hellstrom that made me very anxious, I never had a good feeling about him. Zoller, Wilhelm, Butz, and also Werner, the guy who got beat with the baseball bat all seemed like somewhat decent guys from what we could see. Then again, they were all Wehrmacht soldiers...

What I loved about the last line is I took it as symbolism as QT stating that he believes IB is his masterpiece. "Every Legend has it's dark side"

Now that's a rather childish way to react. One of the best movies I've ever seen, but then again I preferred Kill Bill, Vol I to Kill Bill, Vol II because I like character development and interaction.

Like you said your answer is only based in cynicism and there is fact to my answer. And there is the fact that these movies make money, and Hollywood wouldn't produce them otherwise. Hollywood is business first, ethnicity or religious orientation be damned. I would counter your argument and suggest it is only a US issue. A good percentage of Australian movies are about Aboriginal culture and address that issue. I'd agree that other...

Yeah but I doubt its because of what your suggesting culturally and more due to the fact that Hollywood is made up of Jews that want to make Holocaust movies with the cash/support to do it.

Quentin movies always scratch the top of all time movie charts especially for his unconventional but "life natural" and incredible dialogs. Yes there's some action here and there, not that much considering his movies genre ( gangsters, mob, robberies, martial arts etc ) but the few action scenes are ones to be remembered throughout the years ( Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown killing scenes, the car...

He did. The first nazi we see getting scalped is a dummy of QT. In Nations Pride, "I implore you. We must destroy that tower." is QT's voice.

Good for you if you liked it that badly, I was expecting more I guess. My personal favourite remains Kill Bill vol. 2.

Sorry to disagree but they were certainly not pointless or juvinele. There's two ways of viewing this-
1. Any one can be cruel and violent given the circumstances. Some argue the point that Tarentino allows you to watch the German's laugh at the murders of U.S. soldiers, knowing that within a few short moments the deaths of the Nazi audience will soon be OUR source of entertainment.
2. ...

ltum, i am amazed as well how many people can't see the black forest for the trees.
when a movie is something so incredibly special, i feel it. in my bones. i feel that i am witnessing greatness firsthand. i felt that way watching no country for old men. i felt that way watching there will be blood (at least up to the somewhat strange creepy end). i felt that way watching taken, which is...

I agree with your interpretation and I feel that this was what Tarantino wants us to think, that anyone can be cold blooded and disregard the value of a human life, despite of whether we think ourselves as "good" or "bad guys".

Oh, I wouldn't count on english being a dominant language for many decades to come. You may think you don't for economical/ethnocentrist reasons but you actually do... because it's good for your brain and overall mental health.
Do you care to read an article on the benefits of studying different languages?

The movie had its share of problems, and is heinously overrated on this site. But you make the naysayers look ignorant when you single out the subtitles for special abuse.
