I agree that McShane is incredibly talented and I think he should be considered one of the best actors of his generation. I've been an ardent fan and have followed his career since the 1960's, but I know people like me are few and far between. Thank you so much for this information!! I have loved this book since it came out! I've turned many people on to it over the years. Good people behind the movie. I try not to be too excited about movie versions of books I really enjoyed because I'm usually dissapointed. Bonfire of the Vanities was probably the worst of the lot IMO. I'm so glad I came to Ian McShane's (hubba hubba) page ...
