Don't beat yourself up about it. This wasn't a good movie anyways.

Regarding the yoga lesson scenes with Salvadore (the Fabio style beefcake). He performed absurd sex-simulation techniques on the wives claiming it was yoga. My girlfriend mentioned to me that she thinks was by design as part of the therapy program. He wasn't just a bad yoga instructor getting his jollies from his female customers. He did those actions in order to evoke reactions from the husbands. It was an exercise designed to bring out...

Hadn't realized they were in the US one. Was thinking they were cut from it s well. With thast being the case i believe they should have left it as was. Though, not saying it is right, they may have omitted them because the overseas market seems to still be fairly racist itself when it comes to american movies. American films with black actors do worse overseas. So they probably figured it would do better at the box office if people...

I went to to Bora bora in st-regis resort this summer with my family. It's almost 2 days of traveling and it is very pricey. If you can afford it, go for it. Once you're there, you feel like you're in paradise.

to answer your question about the black couple being off in the distance, there could be an issue of racism, but at the same time, at least they're on the poster. I think they had a bigger role than favrau and his wife in the movie, so they should have been closer up than those two - but that's somewhat debatable. perhaps the marketers thought the favrau couple were more famous so the black couple went to the back. but the black...

I haven't seen the movie, but I'm willing to bet it was written specifically so those involved could go to Bora Bora. It's called "writing a Huston." "Do let a poet soliloquize!"

"More amusing how everytime 3-4 people are shown in a advert (or anything really) in the USA one had to be African American, I thought they only made up 10% of their population?" Because most TV shows and commercials take place in metropolitan areas, most of which have significant black populations. If commercials took place in small towns in Montana, then it might seem unusual for black people to appear in them. If they did...

did anyone else notice that? During the scene in the heated snow room. Jon's characters name is Joey and Vince calls him Jon during their conversation. I thought that was funny

To answer the OP's question, NO! I hear what you are saying about average joes with "hot" wives/girlfriends (Shane), but truth be told, that's kinda is the reality even with so-called regular people. I live in an average middle class suburb and the husbands can look average to fugly, but the wives will either be gorgeous, or at the very least be a "butterface" with a rocking body. They might not be...

I think it's probably more to do with no-one in britain knowing who Faizon Love and Kali Hawk are, cos I sure don't.
not that britain doesn't have it's racism problems (and are we suggeting therefore that the US isn't racist??!!??) but I think this is a bit of a non-issue.

Its showing us that not everyone is shallow. Anyway, Jason Bateman or whatever is not ugly in my eyes.

well, it was hard for me to look at the guys and decide if they were good looking or not, haha. I'm straight. But for the most part, compared to men like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, etc (who can be argued as not being attractive by some people as well), it was pretty obvious the women were far more attractive.
