Well, if you are going to stop after Billy's death, then it matters not what is "spoiled" in seasons 4 and 5, because that's all AFTER you plan to stop watching.

Haha, well that's what IMDb is for! And I totally just creeped on your's too (I'm not a huge fan of Johnny Depp...eek!). I'd definitely check it out, I'm slowly becoming obsessed. The lead actress is adorable! Gleek Represent!

Look, this was a *beep* situation all over. Season 4 belonged to RDJ, hands down. And I am sure the rest of the cast felt awkward or annoyed due to the fact that some huge moviestar was becoming a part of the cast. If you watch Larry, you can easily see that RDJ was on some substance during the taping of the season. He was way off and way too quirky for his own good. That said, Larry was an adorable character. On the other hand, Season 4 had...

Hey O-Donnell! Sounds like we would get along quite nicely...especially since I creeped on your profile and pretty much love all the movies and shows you mention!!! You must be way cool! Also, I think I'll check this show out!

Do you find it ironic that you said you couldn't tell her what happened to Billy, but then pretty much discussed major details way beyond where the OP is right now? And, pretty much, with your clues, told what happened to Billy? Um, bygones.

Ally made a remark, that he belonged in a rubber room, because he listened to We Will Rock You, before going to court. Yet, Ally is being chased by Gloria Gaynor, haunted by Al Green, and sees witnesses break out in song and that's perfectly normal. How did a judge not disbar her for all the screaming and shouting outburst she did in court?

I'm rewatching Ally Mcbeal and I just don't want to continue to season 5. Season 5 was not "Ally Mcbeal" at all. The series should've finished after the last episode of season 4. Perhaps Robert Downey Jr. could've stayed one more episode, so Larry and Ally get married. Because... Ally was searching all the time for the one and only. And that was Larry, obviously. She found him. And at the very end of the...

I really don't see the similarities. I do enjoy Scrubs in small doses, but to me Ally was way better. Scrubs seems, well, just like it sounds, like a cheesy parody of ER. The word "scrubs" is synonymous for workers who come in and take the place of the real professionals who are on strike. I know its a double entendre since "scrubs" also refers to the clothing they wear when they operate, but ...

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately a review spoiled what happens to Billy, but thank for being discreet about it. I'm thinking about ending the show w/ that episode (I don't really know when that is).

Al Green, Dancing babies, Peoples head swelling as they talk. Jabbering off in court for no apparent reason? Oh yeah, she's schizo.
Her therapist? Tracy Ullman was her therapist. Someone who wasn't all there either.

Mhmm....
1. I'm male. But most of fans are female. Definitely.
2. There's no balance. A lot more female fans.
3. Because of all flawed quirky characters it has. Because of central character that you can relate to easily. Because of great humor and fragile relationships.

Larry was annoying, the series was not just about Ally but about the people around her too. Larry had too much screen time and bored the hell out of me. Why do people find him interesting? This is a television show not a reality series! We want something interesting to watch.

If you've seen other David Kelly shows like Boston Legal, Boston Public, or The Practice, that's the style. Kinda quirky, surreal moments that you can't take seriously.
Alley McBeal is not a completely sympathetic character, really, and at the time of the show a lot of people felt she was a betrayal of feminism since she cared little about her successful career and was obsessed with finding a...

I'm not sure which one it is, but I'm betting it's in Season 3, towards the end.
