I'm a woman in my 40s and thought it was hilarious too. Not sure I can shed light on why either. But I found it very clever and its willingess to "cross the line" and skewer about every group you can think of, to be very refreshing. And Robert
Downey Jr made the movie for me.

Yes, his performance was one of
my favorite things about the movie! He managed to be quite genuinely intimidating, which is a great achievement from a child actor. You can see he has talent; He was fantastic. And so frigging badass, too!
