I hope it doesn't happen. At least not with Burton directing. It just seems like such a cliche thing for him to do at this point.

fair bit of 'sex' someone brought up batman.. but there were sex scene in Sleepy hollow, and Mars attacks. Pee wee Herman had some adult humor, and Beetlejuice was perverted. Then theses Scissorhands when she 'takes all her cloths off' as he says. lol not to mention Edward giving them orgasms while cutting the hair. Strip tease in Ed wood. so you see there plenty.. of 'sex' Af for violence.. Sleepy hollow and Todd...

Burton's earlier work is the best but Sweeney Todd was arguably his biggest, most acclaimed movie to date. Critics and most fans loved it. Lets also not forget that it was based on a non-Burton story (alot of his work has been actually). Personally I would love for Burton to make more original movies because he's an amazing storyteller. Put the remakes or reworkings on hold for a little while. Burton's two weakest films were...

Gomi2... oh, sweet, sweet Gomi2. Marry me. "It's simply a new label thrown on an old feeling/mood/whatever so that young, pretty, spoiled people who have no real pain or struggle in their life (aside from the horror of not getting their way and the tragedy of being a teenager, just like everyone else) can pretend as if they know anything about perspective." I swear, reading that almost gave me an orgasm. Ahem,...

He would totally screw up 1984. Burton does great things stylistically, but 1984 calls for a more conventionally talented director. It doesn't need to be styled dark, it doesn't need to be whimsically gothic. That would ruin it. From everything I've seen from him, Burton is just completely wrong for this. He doesn't have the subtlety to capture the kind of "dark" that 1984 is, and he doesn't have the...

Stop Using Depp!!!!

Danny Elfman will be doing the score for Burton's new movie, however. I've never been a fan of Johnny Depp but my sister has been (my sister owns two Tim Burton movies with Johnny Depp in it, which happen to be Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow), but he seems to be starring in too many films at once nowadays. It's like he is all over the place in Hollywood. Also, like rock frontman Jon Bon Jovi, people like him because he is...

Does Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter have to be in every single one of his films? I'm starting to get Deja vu with his films. I feel like I'm watching the same one, same people, similar dark plots, different titles. I know there are other actors out there that can do Justice to his films. In addition, I think Johnny Depp is just doing himself and his talent a dis-service by participating in waaaay too many Burton films. Just my...

Tim Burton OVER USES not only IDEAS, but crappy actors. Depp looks the same in every damn movie. Get another actor. He's ruined Sweeney Todd, everything that Depp touches with Burton, sucks. Burton should get his ass back with Elfman and make something NEW. Too many movies with the same damn actors. My kids don't even know which is which. "Is this Sleepy Hollow or Sweeney Todd?" I answer, does it...

Make this into a film and use the Donald Sutherland family for the many stages of transformation into an old man. Tim Burton already made Sleepy Hollow into a visionary piece of art. He needs to drop what he is doing and make this before someone makes it and butchers this well hidden story. "I've got to go return some videos tapes." -Patrick Batemen

i believe that if you do not like tim burtons choice in actors, then you should stop watching and supporting burton. you are not the directore, nor do you have any say in the way he makes his films. as many can see burton is a very talented man and its obvious that he is doing well in the film industry because he continues to write and direct amazing films. also, those of you who are tired of ...

The Addams Family. I was watching it the other day and was thinking... Burton could do these so much better! Don't get me wrong, love the movie, but it just screams out for him to do.

Look, I love Tim Burton. He's certainly one of my favorite directors -- however, I do have an issue with his most recent films (everything after Big Fish), and it is one that affects them as a whole. It's that they're bleak. His older movies, no matter how dark in color palette, had a vibrancy to them. In the set designs, in the contrast of colors, in the characters...he's become too normal, I...
