I thought he was trying to kill Hulk but no he just wanted to capture him. So is it worth capturing someone and risking so many innocent lives? Even though they didn't show anybody hurt or killed from all the bullet and grenade shrapnel spray. It's logical to assume some people would have been in public places.

Because he was beaten. It was over. Killing him at that point wasn't necessary and would have been cold blooded murder. She didn't want him to become the monster that everyone already thought he was. Even in the Hulk form, he was still a good person and she didn't want him to cross a line that would haunt him forever. Abomination was no threat at that point. He was very clearly unconcious. The military was all right there and...

But the whole point timbob is making is Ang didn't need to put a poodle in at all. The only reason a poodle was chosen for a hulk-dog was that the director thought it would be a good idea. There are a lot of things Ang thought would be a good idea but weren't. I wish I had never seen that movie. And every now and then when it is on TV, I think about giving it another chance, but I just can't sit through more than 5 or 10 minutes...

Thanks again, my friend. Now I know I'm not the only one who think so. Although the movie never made it clear, Tim Roth did look older than how he and his role were supposed to be. And I appreciate the tip. T-virus would be a nice touch.

Yes I think that was the case. And I think that was Blonsky's motivation for wanting more power and going too far with it in an attempt to be better than the Hulk. Who knows what other stuff had been tried on Blonsky earlier in his career to try and get more performance out of him.

I've wondered about that too. I don't know if the military had anything to contain him. In the comics the military has been able to contain Abomination sometimes and maybe that's what they were going for. Or maybe that's what was going to happen in the sequel. The military would try to contain the Abomination and he would break free. I guess the assumption at the end of this movie was that the military would have been able...

Yeah, I think the general opinion of most people is that the 08 version is the better film. I for one hated the 03 film.

So he's trying to off Banner because Banner knows his dirty secrets, basically.
So, so, so wrong.
He was never trying to kill Banner. In fact, he got mad when it appeared anything was going to happen to jeapordize him catching Banner alive.
But wouldn't using military resources to invade another country, blow the crap out of it, and civilian bystanders lives with it, make his career ...

Okay, I've been trying to get an answer from people, but the last time I tried, the thread just stopped getting replies. Why do you like Spider-Man 2 over 1? I know I'm in the minority here, and I just don't know why. I agree that all those movies are really good and probably the best of Marvel movies, but I always preferred the first Spider-Man movie. I hated what they did to Doc Ock, making...

I think it was a general conclusion that the 2003 film was this decades batman and robin and basically gets nothing right. The 2008 film basically confirms to the Ang Lee apologists that the source material could have been handled so much better. Louis Letterier respected the source material and fans. Ang Lee did not.

Hulk is on the run. He isn't suddenly a good guy. When Stark approaches the General at the end of TIH, he mentions a team he's putting together. I really doubt that the "team" is meant to include Hulk...it's likely meant to take down people and creatures like the Hulk (ahem...Stark buildinig the "Hulk Buster").
Banner would probably only be a temporary "villain" in the beginning of the ...

That's got nothing on this - http://www.flickr.com/photos/21955904@N05/24681451 62/
The photos prove how much Ang Lee's Hulk looked like Shrek and not much at all like the real Hulk presented in The Incredible Hulk. Thanks for the clarification!

I think he's standing on a box in that scene. When they are walking down the corridor earlier on, the top of Tim Roth's head is level with William Hurt's mouth. Tim Roth is 5'6" (IMDB says 5'7" but I've seen 5'6" in other sources) and William Hurt is 6'2". Not only is he much shorter but he is a compact guy, which fits for a wiry, nimble fighter like Blonsky. You can see it most clearly in ...

Yes. If your DVD version is the 3 disk and not the 2 disk, you should have it on there. In the deleted scene that takes place in Canada, at the end of the scene after he turns into the hulk and smashes the ice, in the lower left corner of the screen there will be a chunk of ice that contains Cap. It is just before the scene goes to black, and you should really go frame by frame because it ...

I haven't seen the preview in quite a while, but did it show Stern getting gama infected in his head?
One would not think Blonsky becoming The Abomination a surprise at all.
