so true. but there is not really any competition now. i mean we had the leyton/brucas fights... now it is just over brooke/julian and alex/julian (even though it is NOTHING like with lucas) and the whole clay/quinn thing. its not boring here by any means...it has just calmed down a looooooot

isn't psycho about kids like Brooke How the hell is Brooke psycho about kids? That doesn't make sense. Someone who would be psycho about kids is someone like Nanny Carrie, kidnapping Jamie and watching him play on the playground after she got fired. Brooke never did anything like that. She wants a family just like Haley and Peyton did and when she finally thinks she can have one, it gets taken away from her. That's not psycho...

Actually in season 5 peyton did want kids with Luke in flashbacks during there trip they showed that she was considering having kids with luke and so did Luke so just because some isn't psycho about kids like Brooke was doesn't mean they don't deserve to have kids less then some psycho like Brooke does. Again you guys brought peyton into it and love to diss her because again saying someone getting kids like Peyton and haley is...

Really, well she dated Owen and he wasn't with Peyton. She also dated Chase and she was with him before Peyton too. She had a fling with Chris Keller and he was never with Peyton. So it looks like you're wrong about everyone that Brooke has dated being Peyton's leftovers. And I didn't say that she won't end up happy in the end but as of right now she is not in a good place in her life. I wouldn't be surprised...

No after the season 2 reception episode they never come back which is pretty in common in Tree Hill. Look at peyton's dad who pops in every now & then and Brooke's parents who were MIA until Season 5

I would think that Lucas would be the moral center of the show. I mean, not so much because of the cheating but other than that, he made pretty good decisions and always tried to help people, like saving Dan from that fire even though he hated him.

So I realize this isn't directed to me, but I would like to reply anyway
I have read all the books, and I have no desire to read them again. However, I really like the movies. The books are a great guilty pleasure, but poorly written in my opinion. They're juicy and keep you needing to know what happens next, but they're not high quality by any means.
I would recommend that you read Eclipse...
