The events of this week give me pause but..... The ability to understand human motivation is very helpful in the arts, especially in writing and in acting. There is her charity work, but hopefully it's not implied that you need a psych degree to be active in charity. And Hollywood is its own little universe. I can't imagine Natalie practicing psychology, but it could be argued that a great number of stars could use a therapist...

that's a way to put it. and most of the time she might feel heterosexual and ocasionally might feel a little something toward the same gender. it's what Kinsey would classify as a 1 or 2 in his scale. ---- It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself.

The quote was in regards to her first sex scene -- in Brothers . She said she had not done one earlier in her career because she was sill trying to figure out her own sexuality and what her preferences were. She did not, however, seem to indicate that one of the things she had been trying to figure out was whether she was attracted to women. There is a lot more to sexuality than what gender you are attracted to.

Yeah, really I don't think she really needs to give a damn about another career. She's probably just determined to set herself apart from other actors who don't even have a degree to start with. And if, IF(which won't happen till she turns 60 or somethin) her career crumbles, she already has a huge bank account to get by till she dies. I lost respect for her in 2004 when she did Choose or Loose to get people to vote and she said she wasn't supposed to tell them how to vote yet she said that she did. What a lack of integrity. Just one more actress using her fame to force her liberal agenda on people, sorry but I tend not to like people who say anyone who disagrees with me is a horrible person, and she has that attitude. She must not stand for much if she thinks she has...

Why are you not happy with her accepting the role in "Black Swan"? The film is directed by Darren Aronofsky, a brilliant filmmaker, and the storyline is interesting, with a challenging role for her to play.
