It was missing the charm and humor from the first one. I know with the circumstances it had to be more serious, but it was a bit too serious for me. I remember the thing that set the first one apart for me was that fact that even though there was all this horrible stuff happening to the main characters there was still those little bits where it was kind of fun and took you out of the horror for a...

It IS possible to make a scary film without having characters make such sh*t-headed mistakes, you know. It's just lazy writing and I refuse to support that in the name of "entertainment". A mark of good horror writing is that you can look at what a character does on film and say "Yeah, that's what I'd do".

If you watch the trailer, while Doyle is pushing the Volvo wagon he winks at the kids, as if to say "Don't worry, eveything will be all right." That single moment sold me on the film and I went to see it. They cut the scene out of the movie and I was extremely disappointed. Why take out something so bad ass? Against the Famine and the Crown, I rebelled, they cut me down.

Absurd, yet comical question, no? I wonder what I'll do with my name after January 20, 2009 when Democracy returns.

As stated in another thread, I'd like to see a third movie seeing as the second was left looking like a bit of a teaser for a continuation. But what of a prequel? I don't believe this movie can go on forever but I think three movies plus one prequel movie could bundle things up nicely. If you like the idea, why not discuss just what you'd like to see in such a prequel? I'd like to see ...

Okay so they were in a dark underground area so it's only logical that it's erm, dark. But I really object to movies that insist on these frequent dark scenes. I know some might argue that it uses dark settings to reflect the dark storyline but I like to actually be able to see what's going on and not having to catch the occasional glimpse via Scarlet's night vision. Even in the opening ...

*Spoilers* This is interesting. There's been many a discussion regarding why the Infected only attack those who are not infected with the rage virus and some convincing theories - some of which I guess we'll have to dismiss now. For Don's wife is infected but is not suffering the symptoms, she is merely a carrier. Don kisses her, thinking her to be uninfected and through her ...

There's a scene where everybody's running into the helicopter while being chased by the infected. There was an infected with a giant hole in his body. He should be dead, and yet he's running. And then there were a lot of others with missing arms, legs, etc.... and were yet still moving. Maybe somebody forgot that, even though this is like a zombie movie, the people aren't really zombies. ...
