My dad was a pharmacist and always said water was the worst thing to use to take a pill because the combination of solid and liquid is hard for many people to swallow. I got a phone call from the nursing home last night at 11:30 p.m. (just what everybody looks forward to, right?). Mom was trying to get out of bed, and fell and cracked her head on the floor. The doctor checked her out, and said she didnt need to go to the hospital, but they should check her every two hours.
