the wide kit on the 4 door its not a good thing. The reason mainly is on the rear section because there isnt too much space, i pretty much have to on the door thats bad, and thats one of the problems i will face when i create the side skirts.

QUOTE (mac1 @ Nov 15 2009, 05:54 AM) it's hard to figure out what causes this even with a mechanic leaning over your engine bay. It seems that with the XG, everyting can cause this. Most all the sensors work together and if one fails it will make other sensors seem as if they are the ones causing the problems. Someone should make a "Sticky" thread for these concerns as their are tons of them and and...

The Monsoon systems had a built-in amp that sits under the front passenger seat although based on what you're describing, I'm not sure if you have a Monsoon head. There were two different ones made; an AM/FM/Cassette/Single-CD and an AM/FM/6-CD single-feed in-dash changer. My Santa Fe came with the Cassette/Single CD model but I have since swapped it out for the 6-CD version. Does your radio look like either of these? Single CD...

I'm having a hard time understanding since it is all in metric readings. I'd say that if you aren't happy, then take it back and express your concerns to the dealership.

No, that's about as dim as they will get (technically, you could probably add a resistor in-line with the dimmer, but that involves modifications). When I first got my Santa Fe, the first thing I noticed was how bright the dash was, then I dimmed it all the way down and got used to it after a few days. Don't lose sleep over it.
