Published (2009-11-27 20:17:00)
We would just like to wish everyone a happy holidays. I know for some it will not be a lot of fun with the job and economy picture the way it is but we keep our fingers crossed that it will get better. We need more folks to get back to coming to races and be with there extended familys. The best to all! Happy Thanksgiving from the Hydroracer crew Mike and Teresa

Setting the record straight

Everyone in boat racing has at least one Tony story. Some are even almost true. Then you get the ones that are forgotten, like how hard he worked in Pineville last month, then saved the lives of a couple in a plane crash-in the middle of the race. It is guys like him who definitely make life interesting. Just a question for Rod, who must read this site to have posted. I looked back and don't see much posted by Tony in a while.. Also, my...

The full photo, from Lock Haven, PA 2009. My second choice was to show just the two fins, just to make it interesting. But I figured if I showed his engine cover that would be a dead giveaway. ******** Next week I'm considering showing just an engine to see how good you motorheads are at matching it to its owner. Perhaps something in the mod category...

If I was anew prospect and came here and read all this immature fighting - why would I want to join? AOF has their own website which I'am sure has chat or something close to it to talk. Go there and hash out your problems ...

In almost every photo I have of this driver, his elbow is in the same exact position, making it part of his distinctive driving style.
Name the driver. Bonus point if you can give the racing number of the boat he was driving. Another bonus point if you know the boat name.
The driver has been identified -- only scroll down to the next post if you've given up and want to know the answer...

I have never seen any way to do this on a breakerless ignition without using a timing light, I don't think it's possible.
