Staters Bros. - Cashier said what?
Published (2009-07-08 23:14:00)
Did I read that correctly? The cashier "threw" your receipt at you? Not OK. You have every right to be offended. Unprofessional/unacceptable behavior that needs to be stopped. Some people do that because they think they can get away with it. I'll bet you were shocked, & next time won't let her get away with that. There are plenty of excellent checkers who are looking for a job.

I'm deranged. That's all I can think. I have the opportunity to teach a class this summer. It's a few weeks away on the 25th. And I have a block or something about getting the materials together. I am and have always been a procrastinator, but I can't seem to get it together and kind of floating along like the powerpoint is going to put itself together. It's an 8 hour graduate level...

To the person driving on a sidestreet, please get over on your side of the road when I'm approaching from the opposite direction. I don't like playing chicken. I had to and pull over and ...

My RAOK was such a success, and we had so much fun doing it, that Lesley (sbp) and I thought we should start a thread like it. (BTW...the credit for the title goes to Lesley. I was drawing a blank, but she came through!!) Here's the idea: I'll start out by posting a series of letters. It might be random letters, OR it could be a word or two. The person who follows me has to make a sentence,...

Why do the cheaters get free food and medical care while honest people get $#!#? I have a relative who played the "crazy card" to get SSI. She tried for years and was finally approved. She gets free medical care and food stamps. So what does she do? She goes to multiple doctors and gets 15 different meds. She takes them and drinks then ends up in the hospital. Matter of fact she did this ...

I heard a lady on TV this morning speak about her recently killed son who died in Afghanistan. She was very distraught about his death, and understandably disgusted that the soldiers who died to preserve our freedom aren't celebrated but Michael Jackson is. And boy is it ever an unbelievable celebration! You'd think he was a deity, the way these people are acting. Course then I have to add ...

And to top it off one of her kids kept ...
